Know Your Numbers. Without Building the Reports.

Most owners find out they had a bad month after the month is over. I automate your KPI tracking, financial summaries, and performance dashboards so you always know where you stand -- without spending Sunday pulling data from five different tools.

5+
Tools the average service business uses -- none of them talking to each other
3hr
Average time spent on monthly reporting -- replaced by one automated email
1
Weekly summary that tells you what matters and what needs your attention
How It Works

Three phases. Numbers you actually use.

I map your data sources, identify the metrics that actually drive decisions, and build automated reporting so you get answers without having to ask for them.

Phase 01
Metrics Mapping

I work through the 5-6 numbers that actually tell you how your business is doing -- not the 30 numbers your software can produce. I identify the sources, the cadence, and what thresholds should trigger an alert.

Phase 02
Build & Connect

I connect your tools -- field software, accounting, CRM -- and build the automated reports. Weekly KPI email, monthly financial summary, and real-time alerts for anything that goes out of range.

Phase 03
Tune & Expand

Monthly check-ins to review what's useful and what isn't. Add new metrics as the business evolves. The goal is a reporting system that gets tighter over time -- not one that grows into noise.

What I Build

Every automation in this category.

These are the specific reporting automations I build. Most clients start with the weekly KPI email -- it's the one they say they should have had five years ago.

Weekly KPI Email
Every Monday morning, an automated email lands in your inbox with the 5-6 numbers that matter most -- revenue, jobs completed, average ticket, lead volume, review rating. No login required, no spreadsheet to update.
Monthly Financial Summary
Pulls from your accounting system to produce a plain-English summary of the month -- revenue, expenses, gross margin, top cost categories, and variance vs. the prior month. Lands before your bookkeeper calls you.
Real-Time Performance Alerts
When a metric goes out of range -- daily revenue below target, invoice collection lagging, or lead volume dropping -- you get an alert immediately instead of finding out at month-end. Set the thresholds; I handle the monitoring.
Technician Performance Dashboard
For field service businesses: automated tracking of jobs completed, revenue per technician, customer satisfaction scores, and callback rate. Makes performance conversations data-driven instead of gut-feel.
Who It's For

Right for your business if...

Any owner who is making decisions by feel rather than by data -- or who spends too many hours pulling reports that should build themselves. If you have the data somewhere but can't easily see it all in one place, this is the fix.

You find out you had a bad month after the month is already over
Your data lives in 3+ different tools and no one has a unified view
You're preparing to sell and need clean, consistent reporting history
Questions

What to know before we talk.

QuickBooks, Xero, and FreshBooks for accounting. Jobber, ServiceTitan, and Housecall Pro for field management. Most CRMs with API access. I assess your specific stack during the metrics mapping phase and tell you exactly what's connectable.
Not for most clients. I build reporting that delivers answers -- usually via automated emails and a simple dashboard in a tool you already use (Google Sheets, Notion, or a lightweight BI tool). I right-size the solution to your actual complexity, not what looks impressive.
Messy data is the norm, not the exception. I include a data cleanup step in the build phase. If the cleanup is significant, I scope it separately. The goal is reliable, trustworthy numbers -- not reports that look good but can't be trusted.
Every engagement starts with an Assessment. Reporting complexity varies significantly by how many data sources you have and how clean the data is. Simple weekly KPI emails are quick builds; unified dashboards across multiple tools take longer. I scope it after the assessment.
