Sound familiar?
Everyone says you should be using AI. The videos go too fast and the words make no sense. You want someone to sit next to you and show you.
In one hour, you leave with:
Your first hour is $60, an intro price. One on one, on a screen share.
How Chuck teaches AI to beginners
Chuck taught at UC Berkeley Extension. He starts with a result and saves the lecture for later.
-
Do one real thing first.
Pick a task from your week. Ask for it in plain English and watch it happen. The tour of buttons can wait.
-
Talk to it, then push back.
Treat it like a conversation. Say "shorter," "warmer" or "you missed this." The second and third tries are where it gets good.
-
Use the five-part ask.
Say the situation, the source to use, the job, the shape you want back, and what it should flag instead of guess.
-
Use your voice.
If you think by talking, dictate. Say "don't solve this yet," talk it all out, then ask for a short summary and next steps.
-
Don't let it do math.
AI is bad at arithmetic. Ask it to build a spreadsheet that does the math, then check one row by hand.
-
Know a chatbot from an agent.
A chatbot answers a question. An agent gets a goal, the way a GPS gets a destination, and works out the steps itself.
Chuck's rule: One task, not a list.
What happens in your hour
-
Book and pay.
Pick a time and pay $60 for your first hour. Chuck emails you a few short questions, so the hour starts on your real problem.
-
First 10 minutes: what you have.
You share your screen. Chuck checks your plan, what is connected and what you already know. Your answers set the pace.
-
The middle: build it.
You build the one thing you came for, on your own screen, with your own work. Chuck does the first few with you. Then you do the next one while he watches.
-
Last 10 minutes: next steps.
You leave with it working and a short list of what to do on your own. More help is there if you want it. Nothing is required.

Questions
I have never used AI. Is that OK?
Yes. Plenty of people start from zero. We go at your pace, and you can ask anything.
Can we use my own computer?
Yes. We share screens, so you learn on the computer you will actually use.
What does it cost?
Your first hour is $60, an intro price. You pay when you book. If you want more help after that, we talk about it at the end of the hour.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You bring your business and what you want AI to do for it. You and Chuck work on it together, in plain words, on a screen share.
ChatGPT or Claude?
Whichever you already use, or whichever fits you best. We are not tied to one product.
Where are you?
Albany, CA. The hour is on a video call, so we work with owners anywhere.
