I Built the Best Free Valuation Calculator on the Internet.

Business owners needed to know what their company was worth without paying $15K. So I pulled data from five authoritative sources, built a custom scoring model, and deployed a tool that does it in 5 minutes -- for free, forever, with zero server costs.

Try It Yourself
~8 hrs
From idea to live on the internet
104
Business subcategories with real multiples
$0/mo
Runs forever with no server costs

Here's what the tool produces.

An owner enters their revenue, picks their industry, and answers 10 yes-or-no questions. This is what they get back.

Valuation calculator results showing $1,338,000 estimated valuation, exit readiness score of 4.6/10, pillar breakdown, $464,000 value left on the table, likelihood of selling, time to sell, and SBA bankability

Not a guess. A full analysis.

Every other free calculator online gives you "3x revenue" and calls it a day. This tool gives the owner seven distinct outputs -- each one built from real data.

Estimated valuation range
Based on real SDE multiples for their specific industry and subcategory, adjusted for their metro area. Not a national average -- a local, industry-specific number.
Exit readiness score (X/10)
Five pillars scored: owner dependency, systems, financials, resilience, and revenue quality. Shows exactly where the business is strong and where it's bleeding value.
Dollar amount left on the table
The gap between their current valuation and what they'd get with optimized operations. A real number -- not a vague "you could do better."
Likelihood of selling
80% of listed businesses never sell. This tells the owner where they stand and what's holding them back.
Estimated time to sell
Based on industry averages adjusted by their readiness score. Higher readiness means faster close.
SBA bankability check
Can a buyer get SBA financing at this valuation? This determines the size of the buyer pool. The tool calculates the debt service coverage ratio automatically.
Downloadable PDF report
The owner can export the full analysis and share it with their accountant, spouse, or business partner. Professional layout, all the numbers.

What it took to build this.

This isn't a simple calculator. It's a web application that synthesizes data from multiple sources, runs a custom scoring model, and generates a professional report -- all in a single HTML file with no backend. Read the full methodology →

Data Sources
NYU Stern (Damodaran), Equidam, Pepperdine Private Capital Markets, Bureau of Economic Analysis, Exit Planning Institute. Five sources, cross-referenced and validated.
Coverage
20 industry categories, 104 subcategories, 35 metro markets with cost-of-living adjustments, all 50 states. Not a one-size-fits-all formula.
Scoring Model
Dual-weighted system -- valuation and likelihood of sale are scored separately. Based on Greenberg's M&A framework, validated against IBBA and SBA data.
Lead Generation
Built-in referral partner system with GA4 tracking. When the tool finds a gap, it connects the owner to the right expert -- with a booking link and revenue share.

It's live right now. No signup. No catch.

Pick an industry, enter some numbers, answer 10 questions, and see what comes out. The best way to understand what I can build is to use something I've built.

I can build something like this for you.

Every business has a problem that a custom tool could solve. I find the problem, pull in the data, build the tool, and deploy it. What could yours look like?
