1,500 contacts and no newsletter. Now it writes itself every Wednesday.

Drew Diefenbach runs Paragon Pickleball, the East Bay's home for pickleball tournaments, classes and junior camps. Now every Wednesday morning, a finished newsletter with all his classes is waiting for him. He looks it over and clicks send.

Great classes, spread across 30 web pages.

Drew founded Paragon in 2019. He has played on the PPA and APP pro tours and studied sport psychology. Today he runs 20 weekly classes, junior camps and the Paragon Open.

But every class lives on its own city sign-up page. Close to 30 of them. A newsletter meant opening each one and copying the dates, prices and open spots. Hours of work, every week. Nobody has time for that.

So 1,500 player emails sat unused.

A finished email, every Wednesday by 7am.

The newsletter builds itself. Every class, camp and tournament, in the order Drew wants. Full classes drop off.

Then Drew gets one email: "your newsletter is ready." He looks at it and clicks send. That's his whole job.

The real September 30 issue. 19 sessions, zero typing.

The Pain

Classes on close to 30 sign-up pages. Copying them into an email took hours every week.

What I Built

A weekly run that reads every page, checks each class, and hands Drew a finished email.

Drew's only job is clicking send.

Players open it. Then they go sign up.

More than half the list opens every issue. Typical is 20 to 30 percent. And almost every link is a Register button for one of Drew's classes.

Websites change. The newsletter still shows up.

The hard part of this kind of tool isn't the first issue. It's issue forty. City sign-up sites change their layout without warning, and a tool that breaks quietly is worse than no tool at all.

So this one checks its own work. If a page looks wrong, it stops and tells me instead of sending Drew bad info. If the Wednesday run doesn't finish, a second system tries again by 7:30. If that fails too, an AI agent fixes the code and rebuilds the issue, and Drew never knows anything happened.

And nothing can ever send by accident. There is no "send" anywhere in the code. Only Drew's click sends it.

The small things that make it feel pro.

Built for an owner who'd rather be on the court.

Drew wants to grow Paragon without doing every job himself. The newsletter was the first job to go. It took 15 days from our first meeting to the first issue.

That's how I work. Find the job that eats the owner's week. Make it run by itself.
